Highlights
One of the Mongolian most popular festivals is The thousand Bactrian Camel Festival. This takes place in the Gobi Desert since 1997 and gives you a rare opportunity to interact with the Bactrian camels. During the festival nomadic herders show off their incredible skills during the biggest camel race in the world and camel polo, alongside cultural activities involving traditional music, dance, colorful costumes and camel woolen products. The main aim of the Camel Festival is to protect and preserve Bactrian camel population, which has been steadily declining over the past decades.

Even though Mongolian winter is cold, winter tour was special. Eruu natural hot spring is wonderful. When weather is -30, stay in hot spring +60C - quiet and peaceful. The lunch is in a comfortable winter tent. It is very good local food. /2019.02-Eruu hot spring/
